Profiles extract made for Hunter bookLast year we have announced that in the early of 2009 will be published book about the Hawker Hunter. Profielen extract gemaakt voor Hunter bookLast jaar hebben wij aangekondigd dat in het begin van 2009 zal boeken over de Hawker Hunter worden gepubliceerd. Author of the book Paul Bradley have written one short and nice announcement about this. Auteur van het boek Paul Bradley geschreven hebben een korte en leuke aankondiging van dit. We get deadline to deliver whole material until the 15. We krijgen hele termijn materiaal te leveren tot de 15. December and we did this some days before and it look like that we are first team to deliver material in time. December en we deden dit enkele dagen voor en het lijkt dat we eerst zijn team om materiaal te leveren in de tijd. Delays look normal in the publishing world. Vertragingen kijken normaal in de uitgeverswereld. Best at all we have delivered much more material then it is expected. My piece of cake was to deliver color profiles for the book. Mijn fluitje van een cent was om kleurprofielen te leveren voor het boek. Idea was to cover whole major version, whole possible camouflage pattern and if possible as much as possible operators. Idee was om hele grote versie, geheel mogelijk camouflage patroon en indien mogelijk te dekken zoveel mogelijk actoren. From the very start I have make good deal with Paul that this project will not worth if we do not arrange as much as possible good and hi resolution scans of original images. Vanaf het prille begin heb ik veel te maken met Paul dat dit project niet de moeite waard als we will do not arrange as possible zoveel goede and hi resolutie scans of original images. Must say that we have lucky there as well we both have much in our collections but it would not be possible without engaging of much of our resources and connection to get much more. Moet zeggen dat we geluk hebben ook daar hebben wij beiden veel in onze collecties, maar het zou niet mogelijk zonder eerst een groot deel van onze middelen en de aansluiting op nog veel meer te krijgen. In this way I get valuable help from couple of friends and few aviation forums. Op deze manier krijg ik waardevolle hulp van enkele vrienden en enkele luchtvaart forums. Most interesting images was taken via best and strongest Serbian forum www.burek.com and crew on the military section of forum, but also to mention very good American forum WIX were my search was very good accepted and either on forum or in private message correspondence I have also get valuable material and info. De meeste interessante beelden werd genomen via beste en sterkste Servische forum www.burek.com en de bemanning op de militaire sectie van het forum, maar ook om op te noemen zeer goed Amerikaans forum WiX waren mijn zoektocht was zeer goed geaccepteerd en zowel op het forum of in de prive-bericht correspondentie Ik heb ook krijg waardevol materiaal en info. Not only good material as base for profiles are found out but also number of images for the print. Niet alleen goed materiaal als basis voor de profielen worden gevonden, maar wordt ook het aantal beelden voor de print. Some material also come from my own forum. Sommige materialen komen ook uit mijn eigen forum.
No matter that whole illustrating work is made in several weeks, it was not easy at all. Geen kwestie dat hele illustreren het werk wordt gedaan in verschillende weken, het was niet makkelijk. First at all I was not much familiar with type so I have made several technical mistakes on profiles. Eerst was ik helemaal niet veel bekend zijn met het type, dus ik heb gemaakt een aantal technische fouten op profielen. Simply to say I try to use some valuable drawings already published but fact was that all of them have many errors. Gewoon om te zeggen probeer ik een aantal waardevolle tekeningen al gepubliceerd, maar feit was dat ze allemaal veel fouten gebruiken. So in action was put Mark Gauntlet. Dus in actie werd Mark Gauntlet. He is owner of one Hunter nose section and had made some measurements of the actual plane. Hij is eigenaar van een Hunter neus en had enkele metingen van de werkelijke vliegtuig. In regard to the blueprints he had made most perfect technical drawings and make possible to concentrate on the same art work. Met betrekking tot de blauwdrukken hij had de meeste perfecte technische tekeningen gemaakt en mogelijk maken om zich te concentreren op hetzelfde kunstwerk.
That was not that easy as well some camouflage pattern was not good covered in documents. Dat was niet zo eenvoudig en een aantal camouflage patroon was niet goed onder documenten. In this way I would give highlights to the two color profiles and they are sample machine operated by Singapore and British plane used over Suez. Op deze manier zou ik willen geven aan de twee hoogtepunten kleurprofielen en ze zijn monster machine bediend door Singapore en de Britse vliegtuig gebruikt over Suez. Singapore machine was always presented as two tone topside camouflage and actually it have three colors on topside and more look like the standard US scheme used in Vietnam. Singapore machine werd altijd gepresenteerd als two tone bovenbil camouflage en eigenlijk hebben drie kleuren op bovenbil en meer lijken op de standaard US-regeling gebruikt in Vietnam. Another machine is the British machine used over Suez and it did not have black stripes and we have also place desert sand stripes instead of yellow as well some memory state that this camouflage color is used over. Een andere machine is de Britse machine gebruikt over Suez en het had geen zwarte strepen en we hebben ook woestijnzand strepen in plaats van geel en wat geheugen staat dat deze camouflage kleur wordt gebruikt over.
In total my color profiles cover 15 pages in publication and there is included many side views as well top and bottom view. In totaal mijn kleur profielen cover 15 pagina's in de publicatie opgenomen en er is veel bijwerkingen opvattingen, alsmede boven-en onderkant te bekijken. I have very good reflection in private contacts and impressions about these profiles are great. Ik heb zeer goede reflectie in persoonlijke contacten en indrukken over deze profielen zijn geweldig. Hope that this will continue in this way. Hoop dat dit zo zal blijven op deze manier.

Dear Sir, Geachte heer,
I about teach a surface finish training course in Oman in the Middle East We have been given an old Hunter as a project but i cannot find any surface finish or paint spec drawing for this aircraft. Ik leer over een oppervlakteafwerking opleiding in Oman in het Midden-Oosten Wij hebben een oude Hunter gezien als een project maar ik kan niet vondst ieder oppervlak of spec tekening voor dit vliegtuig te schilderen. I wish to complete the project using the original drawings to teach the need to use the correct specifications particulaly where the servicing markings are to be applied. Ik wil het project met behulp van de originele tekeningen naar de noodzaak om particulaly gebruik maken van de juiste specificaties, voor zover het onderhoud markeringen worden toegepast leren te voltooien. Can you help? Kunt u mij helpen? Many thanks Veel dank
