After many delays and changes, book about the Fokker S-14 Machtrainer is out!!! Na vele vertragingen en veranderingen, boek over de Fokker S-14 Machtrainer is uit! All story started when my very good friend Nico Braas from Netherland said that there could be interest to make article about this airplane for our web site LetLetLet Warplanes . Alle verhaal begon toen mijn zeer goede vriend Nico Braas uit Nederland zei dat er sprake zou kunnen maken worden interessant voor artikel over dit vliegtuig voor onze website LetLetLet gevechtsvliegtuigen . I agree that this could be interesting and most challenging was the fact that this is the first jet trainer in the world. Ik ben het eens dat dit interessant zou kunnen zijn en meest uitdagende was het feit dat dit de eerste jet trainer in de wereld. Jet trainers before are actually converted fighter and this one is first purposely made machine. Jet trainers voordat daadwerkelijk omgezet vechter en dit is een eerste opzet gemaakt machine.

As well I am not familiar at all with this machine I have received very good material, necessary to make technical drawings and later color profiles. Als ik goed ben niet bekend op alle met deze machine die ik heb ontvangen zeer goed materiaal, die nodig zijn om technische tekeningen te maken en later kleurprofielen. No matter that material provided by Nico was excellent, I need more for precise work. Geen kwestie dat materiaal geleverd door Nico was uitstekend, ik heb meer voor nauwkeurige werk. This was the reason why Nico were visited some of the preserved machines several times, to take set of the close up images and to take measures of the actual airplane. Dit was de reden waarom Nico waren enkele van de bewaard gebleven machines meerdere malen bezocht, te nemen set van de close-up beelden en maatregelen van de werkelijke vliegtuig te nemen. All of this, joined with the copy of the blueprints and the manuals, resulted in the very good drawings as well precise color profiles. Dit alles, samen met de kopie van de blauwdrukken en de handboeken, resulteerde in de zeer goede tekeningen en nauwkeurige kleurprofielen.
Article is published on our web site but that was not end of the story… Dutch publisher show interest in the book and this resulted in much deep research done by Nico. Artikel is gepubliceerd op onze website, maar dat was niet einde van het verhaal ... Nederlandse uitgever interesse tonen in het boek en dit resulteerde in veel diepe onderzoek gedaan door Nico. From my side I did not do anything more but I have pleasure to to many images editing as well some was worn out and they need sharpening for the desired level of quality need for the printed publication. Van mijn kant heb ik niets meer, maar ik heb plezier om veel beelden te bewerken en een aantal is versleten en zij moeten slijpen voor het gewenste niveau van kwaliteit nodig hebt voor de gedrukte publicatie.
What other to said but this was real pleasure to work with Nico Braas and specially and I am glad that I was in team who bring to the world a story about one very interesting airplane. Welke andere op gezegd, maar dit was echt plezier om te werken met Nico Braas en speciaal en ik ben blij dat ik in die ploeg te brengen om de wereld een verhaal over een zeer interessant vliegtuig.
